There are no less than 110 km of bicycle paths that wind all along the island of Oleron and the Marennes basin. On the island, you can easily go from Saint Denis d’Oléron, in the east, to the Chassiron lighthouse, then cross the natural or vineyard areas in the north to go down to the south through the Boyardville forest to Château d’Oléron.

Walk along the seashore from Saint-Denis-d’Oléron to the Chassiron lighthouse, enter the Saumonards forest in Boyardville and cross the marshes with its incredibly rich flora and fauna in the south of the island near Château-d’Oléron. A route that will allow you to discover a variety of landscapes that the bike rides will allow you to discover. Informative and directional signs will help you in your walks, picnic areas will invite you to take a break to regain strength in a pleasant and sometimes wild natural setting.
