Every Wednesday the arts and crafts market of the Salines in authentic surroundings proposes some rather tasty products (fruit, honey, jam, snails…).

The Saint-Georges d'Oléron market dating back to the 12th century has preserved its original character whereas the fish auction La Cotinière has a modern appearance: quality and freshness – it is the leading fish port in Poitou Charentes famous for its gastronomy (crabs, fish, shrimps, lobsters...).
